Hannah Jade Robbins presents Livin’ Lyrical, her showcase in poetic theatre. Her poetry is specifically composed for the stage, which explores the art of word power in performance. The pieces aim to stimulate an awareness of social issues that may affect young people in today’s society. She intends to create pieces that are artistically and emotionally engaging in aim of establishing strong connections with any and all interested people. Hannah’s piece hopes to encourage dialogue about the things in life that truly matter and that truly last.

What’s so funny?! The Susan Project, 7:45PM – 8:15PM

This premiere open mic [slash] gong show puts your laughter before anything else (including our comedians’ tears!) so why not sit back and relax and demand we make you laugh? I mean really. Why not? It’s not as if it’s such a big demand. Just being funny. Who couldn’t do that? Eh?

Just a Few Words, Ray Castleton, 8:30PM – 9:00PM

A middle aged man pays tribute to his father at his funeral and shares the joy and pain of caring for him in his later years.

The People’s Fiend – Special Spring Issue, Capo Ferro Ensemble, 9:15PM – 9:45PM

A lively magazine-style show full of gripping drama, handy hints and mesmerising magic!

Give and Take, Lisa Fallon, 10:00PM – 10:30PM

A whimsical experiment into the multiple identities of audience and the varied ways in which we can create experiences/relationships between performer, participants and audience, framed by games, songs, puns and a Take That fashion show.
